The unknown is the real... who are we? What are we doing here? Where do we come from? Where are you going? This is the unfinished question that Lao Mu has been chasing since he was a child. In fact, there is no answer at all. The question is stupid but life is long. In the end, Lao Mu discovered a question about love in this boring life, which seemed to be an entry point.
Since the end of the "Three Years of Retreat" project, Lao Mu met two artists, Ju Hongshen and Xu Yun in Kunming, and was moved by their partnership. The three drove back to Kunming from Changchong Mountain. Lao Mu lamented the indifference of the times, helplessness and Lonely... I decided to start a journey to find my "soul mate".
Remarks: "Three Years of Retreat" is a three-year, three-month, eight-day performance project that the artist returned to China after he became a monk in Myanmar in 2012.
