Medium: video, mineral colours

In December 2019 I returned home from The Meditation Programme in Myanmar when the COVID-19 outbreak, triggered by the new crown virus SARS-CoV-2, broke out and in the three years since caused a global epidemic of infectious diseases. According to the WHO, to date, more than 700 million people have been infected and 6.8 million have died as a result of the new coronavirus. To date, however, there is still uncertainty about the origins of the New Coronavirus and exactly how it spread to humans.

As an artist, I want to learn about nature by creating art. Every day I go to the mountains to find various kinds of ores, "especially red ores", and bring them back to my studio to be used as painting materials. The colour red represents life and energy, and perhaps using this most primitive and common material could lead to a positive possibility...
